Terms of Service

1. Provider

These Terms govern your use of the AGM Center website (agm.kentech.ac.kr), operated by the Korea Institute of Energy Technology ("KENTECH"), 21 KENTECH-gil, Naju-si, Jeonnam 58330, Republic of Korea. Contact: agm@kentech.ac.kr.

2. The Service

The service provides research materials and documentation, power-grid research datasets, and a discussion forum. The service is currently provided free of charge.

3. Accounts

An account is required to use the discussion forum. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, and you may delete your account at any time.

4. Datasets

Datasets are provided for academic and non-commercial research purposes only. You must agree to the dataset terms presented at the point of download, must not redistribute datasets to any third party, and should cite the relevant sources when using datasets in your work.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content on the service — including research publications, documentation, and datasets — is the property of KENTECH / AGM Center. Research papers may be subject to publisher copyright, and software tools are released under their respective open-source licenses.

6. User Content and Content Moderation

You are responsible for the content you post in the discussion forum and must not post unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others. You may report illegal or infringing content to agm@kentech.ac.kr. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law; where we take such action against content you provided, we will, where required, give you a statement of reasons and a means to contest the decision.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

The service and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. KENTECH does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be subject to the Seoul Central District Court. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before your local courts.

9. Changes and Effective Date

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post any changes here. These Terms are effective from 30 June 2025.
