Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how the Korea Institute of Energy Technology ("KENTECH", "we", "us") processes personal data of visitors to the AGM Center website (agm.kentech.ac.kr) in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Account data (discussion forum): email, nickname, password — source: provided by you
Usage data: IP address, essential cookies (language, session), device and browser information — source: collected automatically
4. Purposes and Legal Bases (Art. 6)
Providing the discussion forum and managing your account — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Verifying dataset download eligibility and recording your agreement to the dataset terms — consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
Ensuring security, preventing abuse, and operating the service — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))
5. Special Categories of Data
We do not process special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR).
6. Recipients and Processors
Supabase Inc. — database, authentication, and file storage (data stored in the AWS Seoul region)
Vercel Inc. — website hosting (United States)
7. International Transfers
Your personal data is primarily stored in the Republic of Korea, which the European Commission recognises as ensuring an adequate level of protection (adequacy decision). Where personal data is transferred to the United States (hosting via Vercel), we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing). 10. Cookies
We use only essential cookies (language preference and login session). We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
11. Children
The service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
12. Changes and Effective Date
We may update this Notice from time to time and will post any changes here. This Notice is effective from 30 June 2025.
