The AGM Center at KENTECH held its 2025 workshop and presented a direction for an open power system modeling ecosystem.
The centre introduced KPG, the open grid analysis platform it developed in house, and discussed how the platform can be put to work as renewable generation expands and distributed resources make the grid more complex.
Panellists agreed that KPG can widen its scope beyond grid planning into power market analysis and business model design.
The centre plans to deepen collaboration around the open analysis platform and to raise the precision and transparency of power system analysis through education programmes that connect practice with research.
